Pietro Veronesi
 
Pietro Veronesi is the Roman Family Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. He is also a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and a research fellow of the Center for Economic and Policy Research. His work has appeared in numerous publications, including the Journal of Political Economy, American Economic Review, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies. He is the recipient of several awards, including the 2012 Smith Breeden distinguished paper prize for the best paper in asset pricing in the Journal of Finance; the 2008 WFA award as best paper on capital formation; the 2006 Barclays Global Investors Prize for Best Paper at the EFA; one of the 2006 Fama/DFA prizes for the best article in the Journal of Financial Economics.

Robert I. Webb
 
Robert I. Webb is professor of Finance at the University of Virginia and Paul Tudor Jones II Research Professor at the McIntire School of Commerce of the University of Virginia. Additionally, he is the editor of the Journal of Futures Markets, an academic finance journal that specializes in articles on derivative securities and markets. He received his PhD and MBA degree at University of Chicago, and he got his BBA degree from University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire. Previously he was a consultant to the World Bank and he traded on the floor at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He also served as a Senior Financial Economist at both the Executive Office of the President, Office of Management and Budget, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

Liu Shijin
 
Liu Shijin, Vice President (Vice Minister) of DRC. Senior Research Fellow.Doctorate tutor. Born in Xi'an City of Shaanxi Province in January 1955. Graduated as bachelor of economics from the Department of Economics of Northwest University in February 1982. Worked with Northwest University from March 1982 to October 1986 as lecturer and Director of Teaching and Research Section and studied concurrently in a master's program. Graduated as PhD of economics from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) in November 1989 and worked as Senior Research Associate and Division Director with Institute of Industrial Economics of CASS from December 1989 to March 1994. Started to work with DRC in 1994 and took the posts of Deputy Director of Institute of Market Economy, Deputy Director General of Department of Macroeconomic Research, and Director General of Department of Industrial Economy. Concurrently, he is Executive Director of China Federation of Industrial Economics (CFIE) and Deputy Director of CFIE's Academic Committee, Member of the National Consultant Committee for Industrial Policies, Member of Expert Committee of Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, Member of Academic Committee of China Reform Foundation, and Director of China Development Research Foundation. Advisor to a number of enterprises and professor of a number of universities. Long engaged in the research on economic theories and policies, covering enterprise reforms, evolution of economic system, macroeconomic policies, industrial development and policies. Over 200 of his papers and articles were published on major domestic and foreign journals. He wrote or edited over 10 academic works and finished a series of internal study reports. In 2012, He co-chaired the joint research with the World Bank, China 2030: Building a Modern, Harmonious and Creative Society. Winner of the Prize for Excellent Papers on Economic Science of the Sun Yefang Prize for Economics, CASS Prize for Excellent Papers and the First Prize for China Development Research, etc.

Li Jiange
 
Mr. Li is Vice Chairman of Central Huijin Investment Co., Ltd. (“Central Huijin”). Chairman of ShenYin & WanGuo Securities co., Ltd. Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Sun Yefang Foundation. Co-Head of Tsinghua University National Institute of Financial Research.  He was Chairman of China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC), Vice President (Vice Minister level) of Development Research Center (DRC) of the State Council, Vice Minister of the State Council Office for Restructuring the Economic System, Vice Chairman and then Executive Vice Chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission, Chief of Staff of the Securities Commission of the State Council. He had also worked as Deputy Director General of Policy Research Office of the State Planning Commission, Deputy Director General and then Director General of the Department of Policy and Regulation of the State Economic and Trade Commission. He is concurrently Professor and Supervisor for Ph.D. students at the Graduate School of both Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the People's Bank of China. He is also Professor at Management School and Taiwan Institute of Tsinghua University. He won the Sun Yefang Prize for Economics in 1991, 1997 and 2001 respectively, and he has been trustee of Sun Yefang Foundation of Economics and Member of its Awarding Committee since 2002. He was elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation in 2009.
