Circular of Shanghai International Energy Exchange on Diversifying the Deliverable Crude Stream for Crude Oil Futures

Shanghai International Energy Exchange has released its circular on Diversifying the Deliverable Crude Stream for Crude Oil Futures as follows:


In accordance with the Crude Oil Futures Contract Specifications of Shanghai International Energy Exchange and the Delivery Rules of Shanghai International Energy Exchange, and taking into consideration the changes in the crude oil market, Shanghai International Energy Exchange (hereinafter referred to as INE) hereby decides that:

 

Buzios crude oil will be added as deliverable crude stream, loading at Sao Sebastiao, Angra dos Reis, Porto do Acu, and STS Santos of Brazil, La Paloma of Uruguay, and other loading ports recognized by INE; Djeno crude oil will be added as deliverable crude, loading at Djeno Terminal of the Republic of the Congo. Standard warrants of Buzios crude oil and Djeno crude oil can be applied for delivery of sc2605 and subsequent crude oil futures contracts.

 

The grade and price differential of the newly-added deliverable crude oil are stipulated as follows:


INE will closely track and review market developments in each deliverable crude stream, timely adjust the deliverable crude streams, grades, and price differentials, and release notifications accordingly.
