1. Leased Line Application
(1) The applicant should fully understand the SHFE Unified Access Platform Connectivity Guide before filling out the Leased Line Access Application Form and send it (stamped) to SHFE;
(2) SHFE will check if the applicant’s materials are qualified. Once the application is approved, the applicant will be allowed to access UAP.
(3) If the leased line is paid by applicant, The applicant should contact the dedicated telecom carrier to activate the leased line. If leased line is paid by SHFE, SHFE will contact the dedicated telecom carrier to activate the leased line. .
(4) The telecom carrier will process the application and activate the leased line.
2. Network Configuration
(1) Leased Line configuration: Once the line is ready, the telecom carrier will provide a completion form to both the exchange and the applicant. The exchange will assign network parameters including IP address for leased line configuration.
(2) Leased Line connectivity test: The applicant must perform connectivity test of the Leased Line and submit the Leased Line Connectivity Test Report to the exchange.
(3) Redundancy test: For dual-line configurations, applicant must execute redundancy switchover test.
(4) Granting confirmation: After the above tests have been completed and confirmed by the exchange, leased line access will be granted.
